The Self Care Holiday Gift Guide
Self care has been a highly talked about theme this year. So let me start off this post by asking something I haven’t asked and probably should ask more often, how are you right now?
The holidays are one of the busiest times of the year. So, if you haven’t already, it’s time to start checking on yourself and your loved ones. After you’ve made your rounds it time to start checking off your holiday gift lists.
It’s been a difficult year and many of us are still trying to find ways to cope with the changes that have come with 2020. So this year, treat someone on your list with something to let them know that you genuinely want them to take care.

Candles, Incense & Oils
A little aromatherapy goes a long way for me. Candles set the mood. Oils are easy to carry with you throughout the day in case you need a subtle reminder to stay calm. Incense are just cool to look at.
Yoga Accessories
Do you know somebody that is into yoga? Try gifting them a new yoga mat for a change of environment or a pair of yoga socks so they can stop sliding everytime they strike that warrior pose.
Mugs
When drinking tea in the morning, I always tend to grab a mug that resonates with how I feel. This would be a great gift to show someone how well you know their personality. If you don’t know, then you might be safe with clear glass mugs. They earn cool points for tea people because you can watch your tea steep.
Tea
This year I’ve been enjoying some loose leaf teas from, Two Daughters Tea Co. There aren’t many teas that I don’t like but everyone knows me for the butterfly pea flower tea that I discovered over the summer. I have admit that ever since working at Teavana years ago, I have become a little bit of a tea snob though. Loose leaf tea is my jam, but I tried my best to link some bagged teas in the slideshow.
Books
Books are a great way to unwind and they make great gifts too! Whether it’s a notebook, journal, or an actual novel, it’ll be ideal for someone in need of a little self care.
